Internet Explorer URL Keyboard Shortcut

URL Shortcut in IE

Your favorites, bookmarks, and customized start pages help organize and streamline your web surfing experience, but sometimes you still have to type in a web site's address by hand.

Here is a keyboard shortcut that can save you some typing.

When you type in a web address, you can just type in the part between the www. and the .com, and then press CTRL+Enter and Internet Explorer will fill in the rest.

An example would be if I want to go to a partner site, I can simply click in the address field in Internet Explorer, type hypergurl and then press CTRL-Enter. Internet Explorer will automatically convert this into http://www.hypergurl.com for me.
